Although I live in Wheaton, we became SSPP parishioners in 2004. I was married to my wife Debbie forty-four years, Debbie died in 2021. I have three children, two sons and a daughter, and four grandchildren ranging in age from 23 to 2 1/2 years old.
I was ordained a deacon in August 2011 along with Deacon Michael Crowell. Fr Milota added me to the parish staff right after ordination as part time homebound communion coordinator. In January 2012 I became a full-time staff member serving in numerous capacities.
I consider it an honor to serve the people of this parish and have developed many new relationships through the numerous ministries I participate in.
If I am being honest, my first love is the homebound communion ministry as I can share many of the “golden” years of our parishioners both in good times and difficult times.
The prolife ministry and participating in numerous ways supporting Waterleaf Pregnancy center is an experience that I also treasure.
I will never forget the love and support that I received from this parish when experiencing the difficult days preceding and after Debbie’s passing. The priests, deacons, fellow staff members and most of all, you the parishioners of Saints Peter and Paul carried me through the most difficult time in my life.
I am forever grateful to all of you and feel blessed to be one of your deacons.
