- Sunday Offering Thank you so much for your generous support of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Our church cannot continue to provide the many ministries and programs we do without the support of people like you. Please know that any donation, of any size, is greatly appreciated.
- St. Vincent de Paul The Society of Saint Vincent DePaul organization works closely with the parish to help the poor and needy who live within our community with assistance for utilities, rent, prescriptions, etc.
- SSPP Annual Fund Appeal Our 2024-2025 Annual Fund Appeal Supports the Saint Peter and Paul Capital Improvement Endowment.
- Memorial Gifts A gift made in memory of a person or in honor of an individual or an event — including an anniversary or milestone — is a meaningful way to provide an enduring tribute to someone or something significant in your life.
- Capital Reserve Fund The third Sunday of the month includes a special collection for ongoing building repairs to the seven buildings Saints Peter and Paul maintains.
SSPP Special Designations

- Sisters of St. Francis Thank you for your support of School Sisters of St. Francis of Christ the King, in residence at Saints Peter and Paul.
- Youth Ministry Thank you for your support of Youth Ministry programs at Saints Peter and Paul, such as trips to national youth conferences and mission trips.
- Adoration Chapel The St. Francis of Assisi Adoration Chapel is located on the SSPP campus and is open from Monday at 8 a.m. to Saturday at 3 p.m. each week for Eucharistic Adoration.
- Transitional Housing The parish transitional housing program provides temporary housing, shelter, and support for a two-year period through mentoring to pre-screened families. With the help of Bridge Communities, we assist the families to become self-sufficient.
- Tuition Assistance for Religious Education The Saints Peter and Paul Religious Education program is designed for students in Grades 1 through 8, preparing children for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
- Tuition Assistance for SSPP School SSPP School provides a challenging, yet nurturing, Catholic environment where students come to know Jesus Christ and his love for them, while being guided by our outstanding faculty and staff.

- Solemnity of Mary 1/1 The solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, is a holy day of obligation, and we celebrate this feast every year on January 1 in honor of her.

  (Ash Wednesday) Ash Wednesday is a solemn reminder of human mortality and the need for reconciliation with God and marks the beginning of the penitential Lenten season.
- Latin America
  1/26 To answer the call to priestly or consecrated life is a courageous act of faith, especially in a time and place where priests face violence. Your support for the Collection for the Church in Latin America makes it possible for young men in El Salvador and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean to answer that call.
- Ash Wednesday Ash Wednesday opens Lent, a season of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving.
- Catholic Relief Services
  3/30 Catholic Relief Services is a manifestation of love for our brothers and sisters around the globe by the Catholic community of the United States.
- Good Friday Collection for Holy Land
  4/18 Every year on Good Friday, a collection is taken up in Catholic Churches to support the work of the Franciscans working in the Holy Land. Christians there rely heavily on the help that comes to them from this worldwide collection.
- Easter Sunday
  4/20 Vanco provides a convenient way to participate in stewardship and donate to special collections throughout the year. An automated online giving program is a way to support Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church through contributions you designate directly from your checking, savings, or credit card account.
- Father's Day for Priests
  6/15 The Father's Day collection is for the retired and infirm priests of the Diocese of Joliet.
- Feast of the Assumption
  8/15 The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a Holy Day on August 15, commemorates the Virgin Mary bodily ascent to heaven at the end of her life.
- Peter's Pence
  6/29 The Peter’s Pence collection is a gesture of solidarity through which every member of the faithful can participate in the activity of the Pope as Pastor of the universal Church.
- World Mission Sunday
  10/19 In 1926, Pope Pius XI instituted Mission Sunday for the whole Church, with the first worldwide Mission Sunday collection taking place in October 1927. The Mission Sunday collection is always taken on the next to last Sunday during the month of October. That day is celebrated in all the local Churches as the feast of catholicity and universal solidarity so Christians the world over will recognize their common responsibility with regard to the evangelization of the world.

- Campaign for Human Development
  11/16 The Catholic Campaign for Human Development is the national anti-poverty program of the U.S. Catholic Bishops, working to carry out the mission of Jesus Christ. The campaign works to break the cycle of poverty by helping low-income people participate in decisions that affect their lives, families, and communities.
- Thanksgiving Day
  11/27 This day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November.
- Retirement Fund for Religious
  12/14 The Retirement Fund for Religious helps religious communities care for senior members—today and tomorrow.
- Christmas Flowers
  12/25 Thank you for your contribution to the beautification of the sanctuary during the Christmas season. Christmas flower donations can be made in memory of a loved one.
