High School Youth Ministry

Here at SSPP Youth Ministry, we seek to lead souls to heaven by creating a faithful community for our High School teens where we grow as Disciples of Christ and pursue holiness. We seek to do this through the Sacraments, Prayer, Service, Catechetics, and Fun Games and Activities. Our community will grow in faith through invitation, engagement, and development to become the Saints God has made us to be!

 

We are a Catholic ministry committed to working with our youth to teach and instill the following vitures in the young people of our parish

• Faith: We strive to encounter the love and goodness of the Lord through prayer, sacraments, scripture and community as we grow in our knowledge and trust of God while empowering and establishing youth to be the next generation of Catholic leaders.
• Hope: We pursue and pray for a greater trust in God and His plan for our lives and the world.
• Charity: We grow in love of God and our neighbor through daily acts of kindness, support for one another, service projects for the poor and needy, and yearly mission trips.
• Wisdom: We seek to further know and understand the teachings and traditions of the Church through discussion, teachings, and reading.
• Courage: We strive to embrace the challenge of representing truth and the Gospel to our peers, friends, and family as we learn to become missionary disciples. 
• Kindness and Hospitality: We establish a radically hospitable culture of invitation where all are welcome to come, see, and experience what faith can do for them.
