In his Letter to the Hebrews, the sacred author declares that the faithful are surrounded by a “cloud of witnesses” (Hebrews 12:1). This “cloud” is the communion of saints, our elder brothers and sisters who assist and guide us to Christ.
The Cloud of Witnesses series offers an in-depth look at the lives of six saints. Michael Lewandowski will present on their lives and their miracles after they joined their heavenly Father. This opportunity seeks to inspire us to persevere and strive to be holy.
Each Thursday evening will include an optional potluck from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Social Hall; dinner themes will center around the saint’s ethnicity. ENTREES ARE ESPECIALLY NEEDED EACH MONTH. Michael’s presentation will run from 7 to 8:15 p.m., and dessert will be served during small- and large-group discussion about the featured saint from 8:15 to 9 p.m.
