Wedding Music

It's never too early to start thinking about the music and musicians you would like at your ceremony. We have put together lots of great music for the various parts of your wedding liturgy. Please feel free to explore the options available - we have even provided snippets of the music for you to listen to that will help you decide the ones that will work for you. As you listen to the music, note your favorites, so that when it comes time to finalize your list, it will be easier for both you and the music directors. You may want to come back several times to hear all the choices available to you. If you don't find something you were looking for, please note that as well, and you can discuss this with the music director.

If you haven't already done so, please print out the Wedding Music Selection Worksheet,  fill it out as best you can with your choices, and then bring it with you when you meet with the wedding coordinators.

Please click on the links below to listen to selections available for a particular part of your ceremony:

Please Note: We are still working on this page of the wedding planning website. Currently there is a list of songs available but not the ability to listen to these songs. Please check back as we will be adding this capability soon!

Prelude - Before the wedding ceremony actually begins, there is a Prelude which consists of about 15 minutes of instrumental music as your wedding guests arrive and are seated. Music during this time is usually selected by the Director of Music an is a combination of pieces that reflect the festive nature of the occasion.

Seating of the Parents - The seating of the parents takes place just prior to the procession of the wedding party, so the music should clearly be different from that of the processional. A vocal solo or an instrumental selection is usually best here. If this is desired, please choose from the list here or from the lists associated with either the Unity Candle or Communion selections.
