CONFIRMATION CEREMONY INFORMATION
April
2010
Confirmandi
and sponsors will sit in the first 12 rows of pews in the church in their
assigned seats. Seats will be assigned at the rehearsal. Confirmandi only (not
sponsors) will be part of the processional.
Confirmandi
are to arrive by 6:00 PM and sign in at the Ministry Center. Confirmandi will
remain in the Ministry Center Chapel until the ceremony. Sponsors should arrive
no later than 6:30 PM and sit in their assigned seats in the Church. Families
and guests are welcome to sit any place in the Church other than the first 12
rows of pews and/or those marked RESERVED. The procession of
candidates will start promptly at 6:45 PM.
The
newly confirmed will be part of the recessional. After Bishop Siegel and the
other clergy have left the church, the students will follow to the Ministry
Center Social Hall where a group photo will be taken. After the group photo,
Bishop Siegel will be available for individual pictures.
Parents, sponsors and other guests are welcome to join us in the Social Hall
where a reception with light refreshments will be held.
Candidates:
Please make sure to have your Confirmation robe with you when you arrive.
Outfit
under your robe should also be appropriate for Mass. DRESS SHOES ONLY.
