SS Peter & Paul’s Young at Heart ministry provides social activities for adults age 55 or over.
We enjoy a variety of activities, from luncheons, day trips, parties, and tours, to theatre outings and many other exciting events.
It’s a great way to have fun, share a laugh, and make new friends!
Young at Heart Valentines Day Luncheon and Party, February 14th, 11:00 am
All Young at Heart (55 and above) are invited to our annual Young at Heart Valentines Day Party featuring a delicious buffet and entertainment.
Cost is $10.00 per person. To secure your spot, please send in or bring in payment to the Parish Office by February 8th. Checks should be made out to Saints Peter & Paul. The luncheon is help in the Social Hall of the Parish Ministry Center.

- January 26, 2017 – Drury Lane – luncheon and play, Saturday Night Fever. Reservations closed for this event.
- February 3rd – First Friday Mass in Adoration Chapel followed by lunch and a movie in the St. Paul Center. Mass begins at noon.
- February 6th – Lunch at Golden Corral at noon. Meet up with Sister Sandra and enjoy a buffet lunch. No reservations required – pay at the door! Golden Corral is located on north side of East New York St.,1/2 mile west of Route 59.

YAH Birthday Bash – May 17, 2016
The Little People joined us for our annual Young at Heart Birthday Celebration. We had a wonderful luncheon, complete with birthday cake and of course our live entertainment – The Little People. We hope you enjoyed the show.
Chicago Outing- June, 2014
On Wednesday, June 25th , fifty –five seniors from our “Young at Heart” group went on an outing to take the Chicago River Architectural Cruise. After the cruise, we stopped at Millenium Park to see “The Bean”, the Crown Fountain, and the Pritzker Bandshell. After our time in the park, we went to Pompeii Restaurant in Little Italy and enjoyed an Italian Feast. We all had a great day!
Drury Lane Outing – April, 2014
On Wenesday, April 30th, twenty-five seniors from the “Young at Heart” group went to Drury Lane Theatre to see Les Miserables. We all enjoyed the wonderful luncheon and the spectacular stage production of this great musical.
