Adoration Chapel

Welcome to SS. Peter & Paul's St. Francis Adoration Chapel! The Blessed Eucharist is exposed for solemn adoration 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. The Chapel is also available for silent, private prayer at any time.

Located in the St. Paul Center for the New Evangelization, the Adoration Chapel can be entered through the door off the alley directly behind SS. Peter & Paul Church. This door is unlocked from 6 AM - 6 PM seven days a week. During the night hours, access is with a digital code. See SS. Peter & Paul Campus Map.

Ss. Peter and Paul has been selected as Diocesan Pilgrimage Church in honor of the Year of the Eucharist. Perpetual Adoration takes place 24 hours a day, except when Mass is celebrated in the adoration space. More...

in the St. Francis Adoration Chapel

Frequent visits to the chapel are encouraged! Everyone is welcome at any time; however, we are always in need of more people to make the sacrifice of time and effort to be with HIM in Eucharistic Adoration.

If you would like to become an Adorer, or would be willing to be on our substitute list, please fill out the on-line Adoration Sign-up, or pick up a Sign-up form in the Adoration Chapel and drop in any of the Sunday collection baskets, and someone from the Adoration committee will contact you. You can sign up for ANY HOUR of the day or night - more adorers are always welcome and needed!

What is Eucharistic Adoration?

Eucharistic Adoration, the act of worshipping God as he is present in the consecrated Eucharist, stems from the Catholic belief in the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

Christ promised he would never leave us, and he has not! He is present with us through the Mass and through the Eucharist.

True Eucharistic adoration and devotion is not just a gimmick, we're really talking about Jesus Christ's real presence in the Eucharist; that He is really there, and all we have to do is believe that, and it will do wonderful things in our lives!

Ways to adore our Lord

Sit quietly and just "be" in the presence of God. Think of a visit to the Blessed Sacrament as coming to see your best friend. Instead of talking to the Lord, try listening to what He wants to tell you.

Pray the Psalms or the Liturgy of the Hours. Whether you are praising, giving thanks, asking for forgiveness or seeking an answer, you'll find an appropriate psalm. The ancient prayer of the Church called the Liturgy of the Hours is an excellent way to pray with the entire Church.

Ask for forgiveness and intercede for others. Think of those who have hurt you and request a blessing for them. Ask God to forgive you for the times you have hurt or neglected someone else. Bring all those who have asked you to pray for them, before the Lord.

Pray the Rosary. Ask Mary to join you as you gaze on Christ in the Eucharist and as you pray the Rosary.

Read the life of a Saint and pray with him or her. Most holy men and women have had a great devotion to Our Lord in the Eucharist.

Meditate using the Scriptures. Choose a passage from the Bible. Read the words and ask God to let the passage speak to you.
